When will we re-open?
As you are no doubt aware, at point of writing, we are currently closed until further notice. This is, of course, due to the Covid-19 restrictions currently in place. However, it’s not all doom and gloom here in Bowness-on-Windermere.
With the Prime Minister having set out a roadmap to help us out of Lockdown, we can advise a more realistic re-opening date. As such, we are in the process of contacting all guests booked who had booked up until 12th April 2021.
This coincides with the earliest date that a UK staycation in Windermere is likely to be permitted. We do however remain cautious, with socially distancing measures already put in place. Therefore, (based on current guidelines), a summer staycation in Windermere isn’t out of the question.
As things stand, we welcome your bookings ahead of what is likely to be a momentous summer. Although, please follow us on social media or check our ongoing Covid Updates for further information. Whereby we will announce a confirmed re-opening as soon as viable to do so.
