Aphrodite’s Lodge Social Distancing
We are extremely pleased to announce that having introduced temporary social distancing measures, we are now open!
All of our safety measures are in line with government guidelines while doing our very best to ensure guests enjoy the relaxing spa-break they deserve.
After all, protecting both our visitors and team members is of high importance during what is currently our “new normal”. However, as we welcome the first of our guests back to Aphrodite’s Lodge Spa Hotel, we couldn’t be more excited.
The social distancing measures aren’t all that has changed, we’ve also been busy during the recent months working on 4 new rooms. Giving guests the additional choice of even more luxurious spa suites in Windermere, while in keeping with the peace and tranquillity past visitors have become accustomed to.
What Social Distancing Measures are in Place?
As you may expect, there are a few changes to the hotel industry in general. Including introducing a one-way system around the ground floor of the hotel, along with hand sanitising stations throughout. Reception areas have appropriate screens installed and our thorough cleaning process of the hotel now has additional cleaning routines in place.
This includes a deep clean between guests, meaning check out is at 10.30 am (or 11 am if staying in the Windermere Spa Suite, Bowness Spa Suite and Lake District Spa Suite). Check-in is from 3 pm in the afternoon, giving our cleaners the additional time required to ensure everything is prepared for your stay.
Are there any extras included in our spa suites in Windermere? While some areas, such as our public pool, bistro and bar are currently closed, we do have some special treats available!
Fancy staying in a spa suite and having breakfast in bed? Well, let us deliver a complimentary breakfast to your room, simply by calling reception by 9 pm the evening before.
How about something from the bar or snack menu? In the interim period we can go one better, with a lovingly prepared selection of hampers available to order. Giving you the chance to eat in your room or take on a picnic.
Alternatively, as your individual spa suite is like staying in your own private hotel, why not order in a takeaway? We appreciate you may not wish to dine out, so let dinner come to you instead!
