Great North Swim 2021
It may not be quite summer when the Great North Swim takes place, but from 11th to 13th June it’s the chance to enjoy one of the region’s biggest sporting events. Open water swimming is rarely as picturesque as when competitors dive into Lake Windermere.
Lake Windermere Triathlon 2021
Another feat of endurance is that of the Windermere Triathlon. If you’re brave enough to take the challenge, be sure to make the most of your private hot tub spa suite. You’ll be needing it before and after the event!
Lake District Summer Music 2021
While the line-up is yet to be announced, the organisers of the Lake District Summer Music festival have confirmed it’s go-ahead. During the first 7 days of August, there will be a host of live music and entertainment to enjoy across Cumbria.
Bowness Bay Blues Weekend 2021
Another music event that takes place across several venues in and around Windermere is the Bowness Bay Blues Weekend. Opening with the Dean Newton Band on Friday, the reduced capacity this year means tickets are likely to sell out fast.
Brookfest in Windermere 2021
Continuing the live music vibe are local act the Thieving Magpies at the Brookside public house. Just a short distance from our spa suites, guests can expect to hear an eclectic mix of tunes. Although largely based on the rock n roll classics, you’ll be dancing in your seat all night long.
